Fun Filled Summer Wedding at Milling Barn

I’m always so happy to be photograph a wedding at Milling Barn. It’s such a great setting, full of little quirky places for awesome wedding photography.

Now, I warmed to Siobhan and Dale as soon as I met them. I mean, who wouldn’t? Dale has this carefree smile, that seems to be permanently in place. Siobhan is unflappable, taking everything in her stride, so it seems. Therefore I’m super grateful they found me and chose me as their Milling Barn wedding photographer.

I’m a Hertfordshire Wedding Reportage Photographer

So what is reportage wedding photography? Essentially it means that your wedding day is going to be photographed authentically. Importantly, no moments will be manufactured or choreographed by me. Each wedding day will have so many natural and wonderful things happening that I won’t need to fake them. Nor will I want to for that matter! Typically, my wedding couples just want to get on with enjoying their day. Entrusting me, with the task of documenting everything that’s happening. Usually I’ll go about this unnoticed, yet noticing many moments you’d ordinarily miss. To get more of an idea of how I work as a Hertfordshire wedding photographer, you’ll find many real weddings on my blog.

Joy and Happiness at Milling Barn

Siobhan and Dale’s day broke sunny and warm, much like their personalities! Sunshine is always a good start to a summer wedding at Milling Barn. Clearly the day continued with much joy and happiness, tears and laughter too. Later, as the day turned into night, wild shenanigans started. Firstly, a game of Mr and Mrs played just before the first dance. This was closely followed by some traditional Irish dancing by Dale’s young niece. Interestingly, she just happens to be very good at it! Cake cutting, and eating ensued leaving just the party to end the wedding day.

Milling Barn, a Wonderful Venue in Hertfordshire

With the addition of the newly converted Oak Barn, Milling Barn really hits the spot! Both rustic and charming, Milling Barn is one of my favourite Hertfordshire wedding venues. Located amongst rolling countryside, Milling Barn is peaceful and romantic. It follows that there are endless wedding photography options here. If you choose to have some couple time, away from your guests, we can create some beautiful pictures of your first moments together as husband and wife.

I will mention that the staff there are truly awesome too. As a consequence, you can rest assured that your day will run smoothly. Nothing will be too much trouble.
